Historic motoring celebrated in style!

Vintage, veteran and early-classic vehicles from the Bay to Birdwood Run gather in the grounds of the National Motor Museum to celebrate another successful community gathering of motoring history enthusiasts and vehicle treasures.

Gates open to the public at 10 am. Entertainment follows soon after with the unique sounds of urban gypsy punk outfit Golonka, the jazz sounds of the All-Stars and the William Parton Big Band as well as Adelaide’s hottest Swing Band, Lucky Seven.

There will be a parade of Concours d’Elegance and Preservation Class entrants and the final judging and presentation of awards.

Fashions in the Field is always a highlight of the day as people dressed in period clothing are recognised for their efforts with awards and glory.

A wide selection of gourmet food trucks and local Adelaide Hills wine, craft beers and food products will be available throughout the day, including: Chimichurri Grill, ChurrOz, Gourmet Grillerz, Kersbrook Hill Wines & Cider, Lobethal Bierhaus, Melt by Pizzabite, Orexi Home of Greek Souvlaki, Squid Inc, Strawberries Galore, The Satay Hut. and Woodside Cheese Wrights.

Children are guaranteed lots of fun with attractions and activities from Carnival Amusements, including bouncy castle and clowns as well as fun for all ages with the unique Preston’s Historic Punch and Judy.

The Museum is open all day and your Bay to Birdwood ticket includes full access to the Museum collection and activities.
