Attending the Start of the Bay to Birdwood, spectators get a unique view of every vehicle entered in the event. Many of the vehicles are lined up in special interest groupings.
It is an early start for enthusiasts – vehicles arrive from 6 am, but the excitement builds as the vehicles fill the ovals at Barratt Reserve, Adelaide Shores, West Beach ready themselves for the ceremonial start of the Bay to Birdwood.
Breakfast With The Cars is a Bay to Birdwood tradition. A variety of breakfasts will be provided by community groups and local vendors at the start line ahead of vehicles being flagged off at 8.30 am.
It takes at least two hours for all of the vehicles to clear the ovals. Spectators are encouraged to park and enter via Military Road to avoid entrant vehicles entering via West Beach Road.
